Pastor Forest grew up in Shreveport, LA attending Hope Community Church of God. He graduated from MidAmerica Christian University in Oklahoma City, Ok. He was a youth pastor in Alabama, and then spent 21 years at West Side Church of God in Wichita, KS as youth pastor and then pastor.

Pastor Forest and his wife Tammy have been married since 2005 and have two wild animals named Ruby and Charlotte.
