We welcome you to the First Church of God in Elkhart, KS. We are a church located in a rural community in the heartland of America. We strive to be a community of believers who continually build each other up and extend loving arms to our community and our world. Our mission is to "reach our community for Christ by functioning as a church with heart and living as children of the light." We invite you to "come as you are" and join with us for worship services.

We at First Church believe we are a part of the Body of Christ. So we strive daily to humbly and consistently be a blessing to God and to one another in a lifestyle that we hope centers on God and sees the individual; in an individual and corporate commitment to the study of the Bible and prayer; and in service to one another, our community, and the world. We believe the body of Christ is made up of all races, ethnicities, income classes, generations, and walks of life. As a church we actively seek to be one Body of believers made up single Christian culture under the banner of our Lord Jesus Christ. We believe we have a responsibility to create opportunities for all followers of Christ to experience growth in their lives in an environment of mutual love, acceptance, and support. We believe this growth occurs through discipleship, relationship, spiritual healing and restoration.
